South Seattle College provides several degree options that build on Apprenticeship, Military and other On-The-Job training, and can help to open up future career advancement opportunities and increased earning power.

Associate of Applied Science - Transfer (AAS-T) Degrees

  • Multi-Occupational Trades (MOT) - This associate degree is designed for students who are completing or have completed an apprenticeship program. It can help you move up the hierarchy of your organization and can be used to transition to one of the many bachelor degrees offered through the Seattle Colleges system and beyond.
  • Multi-Occupation in Engineering & Technology (MOET) - This associate degree is a great fit for active US Military service members and veterans, as well as working professionals in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields without a degree. Eligible students can earn credit for their military education and prior learning.

Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Degrees

  • Sustainable Building Science Technology (SBST) - This bachelor's degree is designed for students who have completed an apprenticeship program, a two-year technical degree or approved associate degree and have 2-5 years of related work experience with commercial and residential high performance buildings. The program offers industry professionals a pathway to becoming a skilled Building Science Professional.
